2021 PROGRAM: WEEKLY THEMES
Rather than rote memorization, boring worksheets, or copy-cat crafts, our goal is to get your child thinking, creating, and making connections.

FAQS
How old do participants need to be?
The program is designed for elementary-aged children (K-6). Project modifications are offered so kids can participate no matter their level. (We've even had middle schoolers, and pre-k kids join us who loved the experience.)
What do we need to participate?
You'll need internet access and a device for watching videos (computer, phone, or tablet). A printer is NOT necessary, although you may choose to print off the downloadable resources we provide.
You do NOT need any fancy supplies or tools, as we encourage kids to work with what they've got for each project.
Things like access to paper, pencils, crayons, markers, scissors, tape/glue, or other basic art supplies will help kids get their creative juices flowing. We recommend creating a "junk" box with things like boxes, pieces of fabric, and empty containers that are great for when creativity sparks.
How much time do the projects take to complete?
Since the program is project-based, you can be as minimalistic or elaborate as you like. Our handy parent's guide will give you tips and ways to expand or simplify each activity.
We break activities up into bite-sized chunks because we know attention spans aren't long for many kids. On average, kids spend between 1 - 3 hours a week working on projects.
Tell me more about the prizes. How will those work?
Parents have the option of sharing their child's projects for an opportunity to win. We pick at least three winners via a random drawing each week. Winners choose between a variety of prize options that you can view inside the member's portal.
What if we're going to be gone for part of the program?
If you need to skip a week or two, no biggie! You can jump back in when you're ready. Since you have lifetime access to the materials, you can always revisit any projects you missed.
If I have more than one child, do I need to register them separately?
Nope. Enrollment covers everyone in your immediate household. Friends, neighbors, and extended family, however, should enroll separately. All materials are subject to copyright and should not be shared with anyone who hasn't registered.
Do you offer any scholarships?
We want ALL children to have an opportunity to participate, which is why we offer scholarships based on financial need. If you'd like more information, please email us at support@mungapunga.com.
How does the school earn money?
When you enroll, you'll be asked to provide your school's name and city. Schools (usually via their parent organization) must be registered as a school partner to earn commissions. The process takes less than 5 minutes and is free to join. If your school is not already a partner, we will reach out to them, so they can register and receive their earnings.

What makes Munga Punga so special?
Our projects are merely vehicles for igniting your child's innate creativity. Unlike so many other online programs or workbooks, our program helps kids explore their individuality. We help them learn how to problem-solve and use their reading, writing, and math skills in organic ways that speak to their passions.
