What is the benefit of project-based learning?
Project-based learning (PBL) moves away from the standard, factory-model of education. PBL honors students' unique perspectives, interests, and ideas by letting them choose the path to completion. This means, just like our children, that no two projects are ever alike. And because of this, children get a better learning experience that mimics the kind of skills they'll need in real life in a way that honors their individuality, strengths, and interests.Â
It's important to remember that PBL is unscripted. You can't plan for everything that will happen. We provide a starting point, general road map, and resources to help kids find their way. And because of this, children will be better prepared to find meaningful success in the future.
